What happens to my solar cells if I die?

Info on how to record your solar cell ownership in your last will and testament.

As your solar cells are a physical asset you can record them as such in your last will and testament. You should record specific details of your solar cell ownership as well as the login details of your Sun Exchange account. In the event of your death your beneficiary will then be able to access your account and take ownership. Should you not wish to record your login details in your will, the ownership details will suffice. Your beneficiary will need to contact us and provide your death certificate as well as proof they are the beneficiary of your estate. We will then assist in transferring the account (or the cells, whichever is preferred) to your beneficiary.
